Submitted by molamola on Sat, 2008-02-23 21:00.Welcome to the online home of the UCSB Cycling team! We're a couple weeks into the 2008 WCCC road season and have gotten off to a great start. Links to pictures of Gaucho riders at various races will be posted shortly. See the "Road Racing 2007-2008" link in the sidebar for a link to results from all races in the WCCC.
This year marks the second annual hosting of the Island View Classic, a fantastic, community-oriented criterium race conducted in downtown Isla Vista, just outside the University of California Santa Barbara campus. Last year the turnout was incredible and the weather was phenomenal. We expect nothing short of warm temps and sunshine again this year, so mark your calendars for April 12 and plan on participating in this one-of-a-kind experience. As details about online registration and volunteer opportunities become available, they will be posted here.
Morning Rides
Submitted by JENNA on Thu, 2006-11-09 12:50.Every Tuesday and Thursday morning there is a team group ride that leaves from storke tower at 6:30 am. Everyone is encouraged to come along because these are all NO DROP rides. Thanks to everyone who has been able to make it out to these early rides! See you on the road!
