About UCSB Cycling:

The UCSB Cycling Team was founded in 1964 and is comprised of both competitive and recreational cyclists. It is a co-ed team open to full-time students, both graduate and undergraduate. UCSB competes in the Wester Collegiate Cycling Conference against other universities and colleges from California, W. Nevada, and Hawaii. The collegiate men's racing is broken up into three categories: A, B, and C (Expert, Intermediate, Novice/Beginner). The collegiate women's racing is broken up into two categories: A and B (Expert and Intermediate/Novice/Beginner). In addition to attending bi-weekly road race training sessions with our coach Adam Duvendeck, members can also attend weekly club road rides for fun and recreation. All members are encouraged to give collegiate racing a try; not only is it fun, but it builds lasting friendships. The UCSB cycling club is a group who loves riding bikes and eagerly wants to support anyone who wishes to join the team and gain more knowledge about cycling.
