Home Races

Each year, our team hosts a variety of races in order to raise funds, participate in our local collegiate conference, and celebrate the sport of cycling. As each race approaches, we’ll post a flyer with more information on this page. You can register for races (and purchase a collegiate/non-collegiate license) on USACycling.org.

UCSB Cowpie Classic

Our first home race of the year, the Cowpie Classic is our mountain bike race that we host for both collegiate and non-collegiate racers (Flyer). This year’s race will be on October 19th-20th at Chamberlin Ranch in Santa Ynez, California.

Poor College Kids

Usually held at the end January, PCK Road Race is our first home race of the year. The course is a beautiful out-and back road with about 2,600 feet of climbing, located in the Santa Ynez valley. We offer races for collegiate and non-collegiate men and women riders (This year’s race flyer).

Island View Classic

Enjoy racing criteriums? Come race the Island View Classic! Located in our home town of Goleta, the IV Classic is a 0.65 mile D-shaped course for collegiate riders. The race takes place every year in March. Collegiate results count towards standings in the Western Collegiate Cycling Conference.
